Renaissance Festival Photos last update 26 Jul 2006 Silver Leaf has gone through a lot of changes over this past year. The most noticeable has been the movement to a new site. The changes weren't without pains but with the dedication of the people involved, the new site is at SLRF is bigger and better than the last one. If you have not attended SLRF this year, then you must check out the new place, you'll like the changes. If you have attended this year, then be prepared as for next year it will be even better. Every show that I've seen so far has been very entertaining and I'm quite pleased with the line-up. There is the Legends of Arthur show which has a lot of action, good storyline, good combat, and they even get to explode pyro. How awesome is that? It's a must see. The Knotty Knickers, which I think are new this year, are two fine and funny lasses that like to get wet. The Pirate Shantyman & Bonnie Lass are a very talented couple with great music and humor thrown in. The jousting, as it has been in the past, is unscripted and unchoreographed. When they hit, they mean it. If everything goes right you'll see some great jousting. If something goes wrong, well, as long as no one is hurt, you'll get some great unexpected moments. The jousters and squires put a lot into the show and the quality reflects their effort. Another must see. There are many other good shows, some that are new and some that have returned. Come out, watch, and play. You'll enjoy your time! Prior to viewing the images, you might want to check the brightness of your monitor.
